Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions Expands Elevator Control Renewal Offerings
Tokyo-based Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions (MEBS) has launched a new control renewal menu, available since March 19, designed for elevators manufactured by other companies and installed in existing buildings. This initiative addresses the evolving needs of international customers while driving growth in MEBS’s maintenance and modernization business.
At the core of this offering is a new control panel equipped with an auto-tuning function, ensuring optimal ride comfort—even when paired with third-party traction machines. The renewal solution enhances safety, convenience, and sustainability in existing elevators, supporting the modernization of diverse building environments.
Key components of the renewal package include:
- From MEBS: Control panel with auto-tuning function, car operation panel, and hall buttons.
- From external suppliers: Traction machine, car door, and other essential equipment.
This solution is now available in North America, Central and South America, Europe, and ASEAN countries, catering to roped passenger elevators with traction machine rooms.
