Fujitec Co., Ltd. has announced the completion of its new quality lab, Wisdom Square, at its headquarters in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan.
The 1,000-m² facility, completed on March 3, is equipped with 11 elevators and one escalator for testing and evaluation.
Wisdom Square is designed as a hub where quality specialists can collaborate, exchange expertise, and “create new value with the promise of high quality.”
The facility includes a six-story office building and an 11-story, 60-meter test tower. Previously, Fujitec’s quality evaluations were conducted during product development. With the introduction of Wisdom Square, the company will focus on enhancing quality control, improving product performance, and increasing the reliability of its vertical transportation (VT) systems. The lab will also be used to develop and verify more efficient installation methods for field application.
Wisdom Square is set to begin phased operations starting in April.
